LG Drop the Price of their 55″ Curved OLED 4K TV in Price

Since we first heard about UHD, better known as  4K, many consumers have never been able to experience it to it’s potential mainly due to the price, however LG have decided to pull the plug today by cutting the price of their 55″ curved OLED 4K TV a second time.

When LG’s first curved OLED 4K TV was released it was at a staggering $15,000, however this was soon dropped down to $10,000 around the end of last year. LG have now gone and dropped the price of their TV down to $8,000 with an instant rebate of $1,000, which means that it comes in at a total of $7,000 or £4,267. Despite this huge cut in the price, it is still no way cheap enough for most consumers who are on the look out for a brand new TV any time soon. I do definitely see many other companies such as Samsung or Sony following this and dropping many of their TVs in price as the market will never really flourish greatly until the prices are sorted out and low enough for most people.
